Batubelig Beach is taking a greener step toward a more sustainable future. On August 5, 2026, a collaborative tree-planting initiative was carried out along the coast, bringing together the village government, local community, tourism businesses, and visitors.
The initiative aims to strengthen the coastal environment while supporting the long-term development of Batubelig Beach as a clean, attractive, and sustainable tourism destination in Bali.

More than a symbolic environmental activity, the tree-planting program reflects the importance of collaboration between the local community, government, and tourism industry.
With the support of the village government, local residents, tourism businesses, and key stakeholders including The Suaka Baliaga and Puri Asia, a total of 47 seedlings were planted along an open strip of land near Batubelig Beach.
The planting included:
- 24 coconut trees
- 7 sea almond (ketapang) trees
- 16 pudak trees, a traditional coastal plant from the pandan family
The activity was carried out with the necessary support and permits from the regency government, helping ensure that the initiative contributes positively to the coastal environment and surrounding community.
